FLAG may, in fact, be the last big cable system that was planned in the days when people didn't know about the Internet. Those days were a lot calmer in the global telecom industry. Everything was controlled by monopolies, and cable construction was based on sober, scientific forecasts, analogous, in some ways, to the actuarial tables on which insurance companies predicate their policies. The flag had previously passed into the possession of another granddaughter of She-Moc-E-Nish, a Mrs. Dixon. It was secured from Mrs. Dixon's daughter Mary by the late Dr. Perry G. Moore, of Wabash, Indiana. Dr. Moore died June 9, 1931, at the age of eighty-six years, bequeathing the flag to the Indiana Historical Bureau. The flag was adopted by the Georgian parliament on January 14, 2004. It was formally endorsed by a presidential decree signed by Saakashvili on January 25, following his election as President of Georgia. Its adoption was not without controversy, as some religious groups thought it inappropriate to include crosses on the national flag.
The flag fell out of use later in the medieval period, but was revived by Georgian patriotic movement following the country's independence from the [[Soviet Union]] in 1991. A majority of Georgians, including the influential of All Georgia|Catholicos-Patriarch]] of the [[Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church]], supported the restoration of the flag and in 1999 the Georgian parliament passed a bill to change the flag. However, it was not endorsed by the President, [[Eduardo Shevardnadze]]. It was adopted in the early 2000s by the main opposition party, the [[United National Movement]] led by Saakashvili, as a symbol of popular resistance to Shevardnadze's rule. The flag looks ugly and I find it disrespectful. Unless you want us to think of fried chicken and cheese tacos every time we see that flag, then Mission Accomplished. But hey, maybe THIS war and YOUR loss are better than WW2 and all the pol we used to honor with the silly old red white and blue. When FLAG first approached KED with its wild scheme to build a privately financed cable from England to Japan, there were plenty of reasons for KED to turn it down. The US Commerce Department was pressuring KED to accept FLAG, but At& t was against it. KED was now caught between two sum wrestlers trying to push it opposite ways. Also in the crowded ring was Japan's telecommunications ministry, which maintained that plenty of bandwidth already existed and that FLAG would somehow create a glut on the market. This flag was kind of the viral cat-the med You Tube video of its day, quickly gaining in popularity and reaching meme status. Everyone was doing their own version. Take a look at just a few of them via MilitaryMuseum.org . Was the flag with vertical stripes a way of rebelling against the British East India Company? The British-East India Company flag had red and white horizontal stripes with the Union Jack in the upper left-hand corner. The first official flag of the American Revolution was the "Grand Union" flag first flown by General Washington on January 2nd 1776 at Cambridge MassachuseFlag was adopted by the Georgian parliament on January 14, 2004. It is made in China.tts

A history report can also reveal flood damage. Be suspicious if the history report indicates that the car came from another state.
Check the paint quality and texture. Does one of the panels (door or fender) look shinier than the rest of the car? Then it might be freshly painted. Does the texture of the paint appear different in one spot? It might have been repainted. An original paint should look uniformly around the car.
You may be leaving hundreds, even thousands, of dollars on the table if you don't regularly comparison-shop for car insurance. Many factors affect your rates, and if any of them have changed ¨C you've moved, bought a different car, had a ticket ¨C it's possible that the cheapest policy will come from a different insurer.
Check all the gaps between the body panels. All the gaps should be of the same width along the entire length. The gaps on one side of the car should be the same as on the other side. If any gap seems too narrow or too wide, go to another side of the vehicle and compare. Is it notable different? Then it's possible the car has been involved in an accident like this Pontiac in the picture. If the air conditioner doesn't work and a salesperson promises to fix it, make sure to inquire about the warranty. I have seen a couple of times when some unscrupulous used car lots just do a quick-fix refill of the A/C system without repairing it properly. This usually means that the air-conditioner will stop working again sometimes in the future.
